For 2026, I’m zooming in to spotlight the forefront.
Not giving up my farsighted view—I physically can’t. But I can adapt my zoom lens for the close-up view. And that’s what the image at top represents to me. It’s telling me to shift my focus from big-picture macro view to close-up micro perspective—at least for now, for this year.
When I look at the photo, I see a dark background lit only by the moon, a celestial body. A street lamp illuminates the forefront, providing detailed, clear vision of what’s directly in front of me.
The download I received was, Don’t be concerned with the darkness of the perimeter. Heavenly bodies are present to rule the outer realm. Focus your attention on creating clarity in the moment—that’s where human power resides.
I’ve chosen focus as my word for 2026 to help me remember to zoom in from my farsighted, big-picture viewpoint. To focus my attention on the details within the larger scene. And to remember that inner vision is as important as the macro view, maybe even moreso.
I believe focusing on oneself and what the self can achieve is a universal message for 2026, not solely for me. That these times asks each one of us to focus on the present and not get lost in doom prophesizing, which can only serve to steal your power.
And just as the streetlamp spotlighted an area of focus in the photo, sometimes you need something or someone to help clarify your vision.
Your Word for the Year Ahead
2025 brought monumental change on multiple levels, and many people are simply trying to regain balance in life. The end of a year often gives rise to both retrospective and prospective evaluations. I urge you to set aside some time in the next week to first examine what needs wrapping up, closing out, letting go.
2025 is a “9” year (2+0+2+5=9), or year of completion. End it that way.
2026 is a “1” year (2+0+2+6=10 and 1+0=1), or year of beginning. Start it that way.
It’s not about a new year’s resolution or setting a goal for a specific outcome. Focus on what you want to have emerge for yourself.
What personal trait or characteristic do you need to bring forth to create your vision for 2026? That’s your word.
Courage? Strength? Resilience? Persistence? Patience?
How My Word Will Manifest in 2026
To begin, the direction of this blog will change to match my new approach.
And with my focus on clarity, I’m narrowing the scope of my services to practices that clear energy and create clarity for individuals and their environments. This will include intuitive readings to pinpoint blockages and energy clearing practices to remove them.
Energy clearing (healing) as a practice can take many forms. I’m excited to be introducing some new services in 2026. More details to come in the next few emails!
There’s still plenty of time to close out 2025 and get ready for 2026. But it is that time of year when time seems to disappear even faster than usual. So put yourself on the top of the to-do list. That’s the only way you won’t get lost in the blur of the next several weeks.
I hope this message supports you on your journey. Until next time…
My best, Shelley
